Wild Captain Spurgeon Week To Week

Minnesota captain Jared Spurgeon went down in the second period Tuesday night in Utah after blocking multiple shots, though the Wild still won 3-1 for their third straight victory. The captain is now week to week, leaving Minnesota without both Spurgeon and Brock Faber for the immediate future and raising real questions about whether they can hold the top spot in the West.
