Wild Captain Spurgeon Week-To-Week, No Injury Named

Jared Spurgeon went down in the second period in Utah after blocking multiple shots, and Michael Russo is reporting he is week-to-week. Minnesota has not named the injury and ESPN still lists him day-to-day, so the safe read is a week-to-week absence rather than a game count. It stings because the Hughes-Spurgeon pair has outscored opponents 7-2 and taken 58.9% of shot attempts in 131 five-on-five minutes, the Wild's best pairing.
