Faber Said to Clear Return-To-Play Protocol After Skull Fracture
Brock Faber has been cleared in his return-to-play protocol after a preseason skull fracture that required surgery two days later and cost him all 14 of Minnesota's games, according to Michael Russo. There is no timetable yet, but he can start skating in a few days, skating first, then contact, then games. Last season Faber averaged 24:40 a night (90th percentile), blocked 1.9 shots per game (96th percentile) and scored 15 goals.
