Risacher's Rough Dallas Debut Puts $17.4M Option Clock In Play

Acquired from Atlanta in a July three-team deal that sent Ryan Nembhard to the Hawks, Risacher opened his Mavericks tenure with four points on 2-of-7 shooting, 0-of-4 from three and three turnovers in 27 minutes of a 128-110 loss to Houston. Dallas must decide on his fourth-year option worth roughly $17.4 million by October 31st, and the first-half tape, 0-for-4 with two turnovers and a minus-10 in about eight minutes, is exactly the concern the front office feared.
