No Extensions For Lively Or Sasser
Monday's rookie scale extension deadline passed without deals for Dereck Lively II or Marcus Sasser, sending both toward restricted free agency next summer, where Dallas can match any offer sheet if it extends qualifying offers. Lively makes about $7.2 million a season and Sasser about $5.2 million, and the host reads the non-moves as the team making both players prove themselves. Lively remains out recovering from right foot surgery and has not played since November 21.
