Raptors vs Magic NBA Cup preview: Scottie Barnes and Toronto host Orlando 2 nights after a 129-99 blowout, with Kawhi Leonard and Paolo Banchero out.

The Toronto Raptors and Orlando Magic open Emirates NBA Cup group play in East Group A, with Detroit, Milwaukee and Brooklyn. Wednesday's 30 point win was a regular season game, so none of it counts toward the Cup tiebreakers. Head to head and point differential decide the group, and last year Toronto went 4-0 in the group before losing the quarterfinal to the Knicks.

Kawhi Leonard is out with knee swelling (the team says at least a week, Chris Haynes reported 3 to 4 weeks), and Ja'Kobe Walter starts again. Orlando is without Paolo Banchero, Jalen Suggs, Jonathan Isaac, Noah Penda and Izaiyah Nelson. We break down the 20 Magic turnovers, Scottie Barnes guarding Franz Wagner, RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley, Desmond Bane's plan to fix it, Jakob Poeltl's foul trouble and our Raptors vs Magic prediction.
