The Jays found their next STAR...

The Toronto Blue Jays spent $2.5 million, almost half their draft bonus pool, on 4th-round catcher Will Brick, and they think he's their next star. Brick, an 18-year-old from Memphis, was MLB Pipeline's No. 46 draft prospect and now owns the best arm grade in the Blue Jays system. We break down how Toronto landed him, why his timeline lines up with Alejandro Kirk's contract, and why a farm system ranked 22nd by MLB Pipeline is better than people think: JoJo Parker, Nolan Perry, Johnny King, Jay Harry, Jake Cook and the trades that sent Arjun Nimmala to the Angels for José Soriano. Nick Gosse breaks it all down.
