The Jays are Forced into an IMPOSSIBLE decision...

Jays Digest 8:43

The Toronto Blue Jays are linked to both Teruaki Sato and Seiya Suzuki this offseason, and the pick could decide their 2027 lineup.

Sato just won the Triple Crown in Japan (.306, 39 home runs, 106 RBI) and the Hanshin Tigers have agreed to post him. Suzuki is coming off an .841 OPS and a Gold Glove finalist season in right field with the Cubs. After the Blue Jays finished last in MLB in runs and home runs in 2026, we compare the two, go through every report on the Jays' interest (Mitch Bannon, Ben Nicholson-Smith, Mark Shapiro), the money, the posting fee and the lockout clock, and pick the one Toronto should sign. Nick Gosse breaks it all down.
