Blue Jays Reported Expected To Pursue Suzuki In Free Agency

With Suzuki's five-year, $85 million Cubs deal reported to have expired, the Blue Jays are reportedly lining up for the right fielder. Mitch Bannon of The Athletic reported in September that Toronto is expected to pursue Suzuki, and the club has since been described as set to pursue him very heavily. Suzuki posted an .841 OPS with 26 homers and remains a Gold Glove finalist in right field.
