The Blue Jays are going bigger than we thought this offseason: Ken Rosenthal puts Toronto in the mix for Seiya Suzuki, and Jeff Passan links them to Ketel Marte.

Free agency opened today, and with a lockout expected on December 1, the Blue Jays have 29 days to fix an offence that finished 30th out of 30 in runs (648) and home runs (152) in 2026. Ben Nicholson-Smith says Toronto has no choice but to add real impact and expects a busy November. Ken Rosenthal says the Jays need more offense, and Seiya Suzuki (.368 OBP) fits right in. Jeff Passan says Arizona is willing to listen on Ketel Marte. Randy Arozarena, Luis Arraez, Ian Happ, Teruakil are on the board too. Can the Jays afford more than one big bat with $39.1 million of luxury tax room
