Raptors Trade Rumours Escalating...

The Sporting News predicted the Toronto Raptors trade for Karl-Anthony Towns, and Bleacher Report's Dan Favale said the Raptors should put a pin in Towns' extension standoff with the New York Knicks. Towns would fit in Toronto, but a Raptors Knicks trade makes no sense. The Raptors are hard capped at the first apron after the Kawhi Leonard trade, with $963,598 of room (Spotrac). The package everyone is throwing out, RJ Barrett, Jakob Poeltl and Ja'Kobe Walter, is illegal. The only legal version adds Allen Graves. Ben Rogers breaks it down.

Would you make that deal? 1 or 2 in the comments.

Full breakdown on Raptors Digest: every Towns trade package, the hard cap and Towns' $61 million player option.
