Dawson Mercer Could Make Jets Debut In Heritage Classic

Dawson Mercer, linked to Winnipeg in a rumour involving Connor Hellebuyck, is expected to make his Winnipeg debut in the outdoor Heritage Classic against Montreal, skating on the third line and the second power play unit. The Jets have lost three straight while scoring just five goals in that span, and Mercer has zero goals and four assists in 10 games on 22 shots this season.
