KrakenKraken and Predators Discussing Shane Wright for Matthew Wood One-For-One
A report says Seattle and Nashville are discussing a one-for-one move that would send 2022 fourth overall pick Shane Wright to Nashville and 2023 15th overall pick Matthew Wood to Seattle, with no picks or other pieces involved. Nothing has been agreed or completed. Both are in the final year of their entry-level contracts and become restricted free agents in 2027. The host argues Seattle would get the better of it, noting Wood outscored Wright last season 17 goals to 12 despite playing roughly a minute and a half less per night.
