Predators Trade Matthew Wood to Seattle

The Nashville Predators have traded forward Matthew Wood, a surprising move given his status as one of the team's most promising young players. Wood had struggled this season, recording just three points in 14 games and winning only 35% of his faceoffs. Nashville is betting on Shane Wright, the No. 4 pick in 2022, instead.
