Cason Wallace is the premier perimeter defender for the Oklahoma City (OKC) Thunder. The 22 year-old defensive specialist inked a 5 year, $139M contract extension less than a week before the season's start, getting the stamp of approval from general manager Sam Presti as a piece for the future. But with big money in his bank account, the Thunder want to see young Cason Wallace develop more to his game than his otherworldly defense: in fact, Sam Presti and Mark Daigneault are counting on it. In the Thunder's most recent 96-84 win against the Denver Nuggets, Wallace showed flashes of offensive capabilities, hitting 3 three-point tries. His offensive contributions complimented his 4 steals, and Wallace looked more comfortable in his second start of the season. Thunder Digest host Gabriel Ebersole breaks down the Cason Wallace's performance against the Denver Nuggets, his offensive abilities that are still developing, and why two-way Cason is already a very valuable piece to the Thunder going into season number four. #okcthunder #oklahomacitythunder #casonwallace
