Mavs Land Walter Clayton Jr. On Two-Way Deal

The Dallas Mavericks are signing Walter Clayton Jr. to a two-way contract, adding the young guard on a developmental deal. Memphis had reportedly been seeking a first-round pick for Clayton back in June, and the Grizzlies had insisted on Utah sending him to Memphis in the Jaren Jackson Jr. trade last season. Dallas now gets him at a far lower cost than Memphis' original asking price.
