MarinersGiants' McCray Claimed Off Waivers By Seattle
The San Francisco Giants made five roster moves earlier today, and Grant McCray is out of the building after being claimed off waivers by Seattle. In three seasons with the Giants he hit .170 over 102 games with 95 strikeouts in 223 at-bats, and his OPS with two strikes sat at .382 across 55 plate appearances. Seattle gets an athletic 25-year-old outfielder who can run and throw, while the Giants move on from a lottery ticket they no longer have time to develop.
