Preston Mattingly Declined Athletics Interview For President Role

Phillies general manager Preston Mattingly rejected an invitation from the Athletics to interview for their president of baseball operations position, according to a report from Bob Nightengale. The host noted this was the first time he had seen that report. This keeps the father-son duo of Don and Preston Mattingly together in the Phillies front office.
