Red Sox, Athletics Discuss Nate Eaton For Minor League Arm

The Boston Red Sox and Athletics are discussing a potential move involving outfielder Nate Eaton and minor league right-handed pitcher Jareth Rayo, according to a source. Eaton's calling card has been his speed, but after a solid 2025 average his 2026 campaign cratered to a .160 line with one homer and six RBI, and with a crowded outfield more moves are expected.
