Bowden: Red Sox Will Keep Calling Nationals On Abrams

Jim Bowden reported that Boston will continue to call Washington about CJ Abrams, but only if the Nationals decide to move him. Abrams posted an .834 OPS with 33 homers, 106 RBI and 34 steals, and is under control through 2029, so the price would be steep. A Nationals account cautioned fans not to bite on what it called generic Bowden statements, framing this as Bowden's read rather than a Red Sox announcement.
