Darche Denies Mayfield Trade Rumors

After reports circulated that Scott Mayfield might request a trade, Mathieu Darche publicly denied any truth to the rumors, saying the team is not shopping him and that Mayfield has not asked out nor been asked to waive his no-trade clause. The host cautioned this is partly GM speak but suggested a move could still come closer to the trade deadline, when Mayfield's value peaks. Mayfield's full no-trade clause converts to a 16-team list next season.
