Steelers Eye Chargers Wideout In Potential Heist

A scout floated Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey as a target Aaron Rodgers would enjoy throwing to in Pittsburgh, framing a move for the 24-year-old as a potential heist given his rookie contract. McConkey caught 82 passes for 1,149 yards and seven touchdowns as a rookie and posted 197 receiving yards in his first playoff game at Houston, the most by a rookie in a playoff game since 2000. He counts just $2.73 million against the cap this year and $3.18 million next year.
