Steelers Safety DeShon Elliott Nears Return from Injured Reserve

Steelers safety DeShon Elliott, on injured reserve since before the season, was a full participant in practice on Wednesday and is expected to be activated for Sunday's game. The team faces a deadline: if Elliott is not activated before the 29th, he is lost for the year. His return would provide a boost to a safety room that currently has only two healthy players on the active roster.
