Mavericks Said to Pick Up Risacher's Option Through 2027-28

The Mavericks reportedly opted into Zaccharie Risacher's option at roughly $17.4 million for 2027-28, according to a source, a move that would keep the 21-year-old wing from reaching unrestricted free agency. The front office is said to be buying into his defense as real, and Risacher called the news "super great news" while saying he feels "grateful to be in this organization."
