Longtime Giant Tristan Beck Reportedly Released In Roster Crunch

Tristan Beck, a Giant in each of the last four seasons, was reportedly released as San Francisco trimmed its 40-man roster. Beck posted a 4.08 ERA across 176.2 innings in that span, and his FIP worsened every year, from 3.87 in 2023 to 4.31 in 2025. The move was widely projected but still marks the end of a tenure defined by up-and-down shuttling between Sacramento and the majors.
