Angels' Detmers Linked To Dodgers As Rotation Fix

Reid Detmers is being floated as the answer to a Dodgers rotation full of question marks after a 2026 season of 185 innings, 211 strikeouts and a 3.36 ERA for a 100-loss Angels team. The link traces back to July reporting, not anything new: Robert Murray listed Detmers and Zach Neto among the best trade candidates, and ESPN's David Schoenfield predicted a Dodgers-Angels deal only if LA missed on Tarik Skubal, which it did not. The host stresses nothing has been reported since and no call has been confirmed.
