Dodgers Mets Rumor

Lockout Clock Threatens Yamamoto Window

The CBA expires December 1st and most around the sport expect a lockout, with owners proposing a hard $245.3 million cap while the Dodgers already have over $387 million committed for 2027. SNY's Chelsea Janes reports the Mets are expected to match whatever offer Yamamoto gets this winter, and Dodgers Way projects upwards of $400 million. If a deal is going to happen before the rules change, the window is roughly the next six weeks.
