Tigers Post Murakami, MLB Teams Get 45-Day Window

The Hanshin Tigers held a news conference Monday and said they have accepted Munetaka Murakami's request to be posted, opening a 45-day negotiating window for all 30 clubs once the Japan Series ends. At 27 he is past the age limit that capped Roki Sasaki, so there is no bonus pool restriction and any team can offer any amount. If he does not sign in that window he returns to Japan for 2027 and cannot be posted again until next winter.
