Blue JaysJapan Report Places Blue Jays First in Suzuki Destination Rankings
Tokyo Sports, one of Japan's largest sports papers, ran a story on Yahoo Japan headlined that a Seiya Suzuki and Kazuma Okamoto combo is in the making, with the Blue Jays ranked number one in Suzuki's destination ranking. The piece argues there is no better fit for Suzuki than Toronto, and a Japanese baseball account's post of the story has passed half a million views. The item follows weeks of reporting from Mitch Bannon and Ben Nicholson-Smith linking Toronto to Suzuki.
