Elliotte Friedman Reported Capitals Gave Miroshnichenko Permission To Speak To Other Teams

Elliotte Friedman reported the Washington Capitals gave 22-year-old forward Ivan Miroshnichenko permission to speak with other teams, and reported a trade is expected provided the return is legitimate. Miroshnichenko has played just three games this season, logging one goal in 11:03 of ice time, and is out of waiver exemption, so Washington cannot send him down without losing him for nothing.
