Nikolas Matinpalo Return Appears Possible For Avalanche

Nikolas Matinpalo practiced in a normal sweater at morning skate and is out of his no-contact jersey, which could put him on track to return as soon as tomorrow against New Jersey. The Avalanche have badly missed him: they are 4-2-0 with him in the lineup at 4.88 goals per game, versus 2-3-1 and 3.33 goals per game without him.
