Barzal Out Indefinitely Despite Doctor Clearance

Mathew Barzal has been medically cleared to advance to the next step of his recovery, but the Islanders forward doesn't feel right enough in his knee to do so. He is skating on his own but remains out indefinitely, and the team will not rush him back regardless of how long it takes. He will only rejoin the group once he's comfortable enough to take part in a team skate, and he'll address the media when he's added to the roster.
