Islanders Opt for 12 Forwards on Western Trip

Head coach Pete DeBoer explained that the decision to carry only 12 forwards on the three-game Western Conference road trip was made in consultation with GM Mathieu Darche. With no back-to-backs on the schedule, the team feels comfortable with the current roster and is confident they can recall a forward if necessary.
