Wild Reported Willing To Offer Quinn Hughes Max And Let Him Pick Term

The Athletic reported in September that Minnesota is willing to offer Quinn Hughes a maximum-term extension at an average salary above $20.4 million, and Elliotte Friedman's stated opinion is that the Wild will tell him, or already have, that they'll do the max and he can choose the term. Nothing is signed, Hughes said on October 24th he's "where I've always been" and something could happen soon, while Bill Guerin said he hasn't talked to them about it in a long time.
