Dallas Cowboys owner and GM Jerry Jones may have just dropped a MASSIVE hint about another Cowboys trade! After Dallas’ Week 2 win, Jerry Jones made the viral comment: “There is nothing more dangerous than an old man with money.” Now Cowboys TRADE RUMORS are heating up with potential defensive targets including Josh Sweat, Joey Porter Jr. and Tyson Campbell! Jace Andrews breaks down the latest Cowboys news and rumors.

Could Jerry Jones be preparing to make another BLOCKBUSTER Cowboys trade during the 2026 NFL season?

Today’s Cowboys news and rumors break down Jerry Jones’ comments, why Dallas could be looking to upgrade Christian Parker’s defense and some of the BIGGEST names the Cowboys could potentially target on the NFL trade market.

JERRY JONES HINTING AT A COWBOYS TRADE?

Jones clarified that his viral “old man with money” comment was made in a football context and said he would financially work to improve this Cowboys roster “in a minute.”

Dallas has already made it clear that it has the draft capital and financial flexibility to be aggressive if the right player becomes available.

So WHO could the Cowboys trade for?

JOSH SWEAT TO THE COWBOYS?

Josh Sweat could be an intriguing option if Dallas wants to make another major addition to its pass rush.

The Cowboys have plenty invested in their defensive front, but adding another proven EDGE could give Christian Parker another weapon to pressure opposing quarterbacks.

Could Jerry Jones make an aggressive move and bring Josh Sweat to Dallas?

JOEY PORTER JR. TRADE?

Joey Porter Jr. might be one of the most fascinating potential Cowboys trade targets.

With questions surrounding Porter’s future in Pittsburgh, could Dallas make a call to the Steelers?

Adding Porter would give the Cowboys another talented young cornerback to pair with DaRon Bland and the rest of the Dallas secondary. With Cobie Durant dealing with a hamstring injury, adding another CB could become even more intriguing.

TYSON CAMPBELL TO DALLAS?

Tyson Campbell is another cornerback who has been mentioned as a potential Cowboys trade target.

Could Dallas look to add Campbell and strengthen a secondary that has already dealt with injuries to P.J. Locke, Cobie Durant and Malik Hooker?

The Cowboys have options — and Jerry Jones certainly doesn’t sound like an owner who is afraid to spend or make another aggressive move.

Dallas already has Quinnen Williams, Rashan Gary, Donovan Ezeiruaku, Caleb Downs, Jaishawn Barham and several other talented pieces on defense.

Would adding another STAR defender make the Cowboys a legitimate contender in the NFC?
