Cowboys Could Elevate Tight End As Schoonmaker Questionable
Dallas could elevate James Mitchell from the practice squad for Sunday only, according to a source, a possible insurance move with Luke Schoonmaker questionable due to a groin injury. Schoonmaker has played just three of seven games for 30 receiving yards, while the entire tight end room has managed only 224 receiving yards with Brevyn Spann-Ford taking over as the top option. Mitchell, a former Lions fifth-round pick out of Virginia Tech, would offer another body rather than a headline.
