Austin Spurs Land Malik Williams In 4-For-1 G League Trade

The Austin Spurs acquired the G League rights to Malik Williams in a four-for-one swap with the Coachella Valley Lakers, sending Micah Potter, Stanley Umude, James Banks III and Isaiah Miller to the Lakers' affiliate. Williams had already spent the preseason in San Antonio after signing an Exhibit 10 contract in September before being waived ahead of the regular season. The deal consolidates his G League rights in Austin, giving the Spurs' affiliate a big man they've already had in the building.
