Pacers Rookie Braden Smith Earns First-Quarter Minutes vs. 76ers

Indiana Pacers rookie Braden Smith, a Westfield High School and Purdue product, is set for first-quarter minutes against the Philadelphia 76ers after logging 18 seconds of garbage time in his NBA debut in Milwaukee. With Tyrese Haliburton and T.J. McConnell both sidelined by hamstring strains, the Pacers will lean on Smith early in the season. The expanded role marks a rapid rise for the undrafted-style local rookie.
