PistonsPistons Still Circling Trey Murphy After July Blink
Detroit's interest dates back to July 2nd, when Michael Scotto reported the Pistons had constantly circled the wagons on Murphy talks but felt the price was too high. New Orleans had dropped its ask from the equivalent of four first round picks to three, and Kevin O'Connor reported the Pelicans wanted at least three firsts. Detroit looked at that price and blinked; the name is now back, with Murphy averaging 14.2 points and shooting 35.5% from three this season.
