Dyson Daniels torches the record books at 35: and Pelicans fans are left wondering what could have been
Two years after the Pelicans let him walk, Dyson Daniels just put up a stat line that no one in NBA history has ever touched at age 35: 5+ steals while shooting 60%+ on at least 10 attempts. That's not just a good night, it's uncharted territory, and it's happening in a jersey that isn't New Orleans'. While the Pelicans continue to search for defensive identity and efficient wing play, Daniels is out here setting a new ceiling and making the front office's decision look worse by the game. You can't help but wonder: what if he'd never left?
