Sasser Shines In Mavericks Debut After Quiet Six-Team Move

Marcus Sasser, reported to be involved in a six-team July move that Sports Illustrated called a salary dump, scored 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting in his Mavericks debut against Houston. He finished as Dallas's second-leading scorer behind Cooper Flagg's 32, ahead of Kyrie Irving and Naji Marshall. Sasser said afterward he needs to be 'ultra aggressive' after passing up shots in the first half.
