YankeesGiants Reportedly Claim Camilo Doval Off Waivers From Pirates
The San Francisco Giants have reportedly claimed right-handed reliever Camilo Doval off waivers from the Pittsburgh Pirates, according to a source. The report links the former All-Star back to the organization that traded him to the Yankees in 2025. Doval posted a 4.82 ERA with New York last season and a 4.54 ERA earlier this year before a brief improvement in Pittsburgh, where he struck out 10.9 per nine innings but walked 6.63. The reported move is seen as a low-risk flyer for a Giants bullpen that needs late-inning help.
