Bo Bichette Reportedly Opts In, Linked to Mets for 2027
Bo Bichette has reportedly opted into his Mets contract and is expected to be on the team in 2027, per reporting broken by Will Salmon and retweeted by SNY Mets. Bichette played nearly every day in 2026 and was stronger in the second half, though his cumulative numbers fell short of the $42 million AAV he's earning on the three-year, $126 million deal signed last year. The Mets are banking on a bounceback as part of their contention hopes.
