Vientos Speculated To Be On The Block As Mets Roster Crunch Looms
Mark Vientos enters the offseason with speculation that he is on the trade block after a disappointing 2026 in which his OPS sat in the mid-600s and his on-base percentage dipped to .258, with his first-base defense rated among the worst at the position. The host said he expects a deal, noting the Mets could still tender him as a DH platoon bat or bench power option, but that upper-minors talent is pushing him out.
