Ohtani Swept by Crow-Armstrong in Players Choice Awards

Shohei Ohtani came up short to Pete Crow-Armstrong in both MLB Players Choice Award categories this year, falling in the races for Player of the Year and Outstanding Player. The honors were decided exclusively by a vote of active MLB players, making the result a peer-driven verdict on the season. For the Dodgers' superstar, it's a rare awards-season defeat after another standout campaign.
