Noami, who has no NPB or pro experience, reportedly impressed with a 1.21 ERA and 80 strikeouts in 52 innings in semi-hardball fall play, and his fastball has reportedly touched 96 mph. The rumoured deal is said to be worth $300K, and scouts from the Phillies and Cardinals were among those watching him.
