Orioles Release Former No. 2 Pick Heston Kjerstad
The Baltimore Orioles have released outfielder Heston Kjerstad after he cleared outright waivers. The 27-year-old was the second overall pick in the 2020 MLB draft but never found his footing in Baltimore, posting a .639 OPS across 117 MLB games over four seasons. He'll now search for a fresh start elsewhere.
