The Dodgers Just Set A Condition For Skubal...

The Los Angeles Dodgers will reportedly only sign free agent Tarik Skubal on a Kyle Tucker style deal, and Michael King opting out of his Padres contract gives them a backup plan.

Katie Woo of The Athletic says the Dodgers would be fierce competitors for Skubal only if he accepts a shorter deal with a huge average salary, not 10 years and $400 million. We break down Tucker's 4-year, $240 million contract, the December 1 CBA deadline and lockout threat, Skubal's 10 starts and 2.61 ERA as a Dodger, his wish to return to Detroit, the other teams in the market, and how Michael King's free agency changes the Dodgers' leverage.

Should the Dodgers give Skubal a Tucker deal, or 10 years? And who do you want if it isn't a Tucker deal: Skubal or King? Tell us in the comments.
